1. Shipping Locations
We ship to business addresses within Australia only.
We do not deliver to:
- Residential addresses
- PO Boxes
- Parcel lockers
By placing an order, you warrant that the delivery address provided is a valid commercial premises.
2. Order Processing & Dispatch
- Warehouse is open on Monday, Wednesday or Friday excluding public holidays and we will begin processing your order next business day.
- Dispatch timeframes are estimates only and not guaranteed.
3. Shipping Methods or pick up via appointment
If you would like to pick up directly from our warehouse in Clifton Hill 3068 or if you have selected pick up for the shipping method - please contact us ahead of time for an appointment to make sure your order is ready for pick up. Our contact number is 03 9706 5292 and email is admin@ma1.com.au.
Otherwise your orders will be dispatched via a third party courier. We would be able to provide you with the details after dispatch.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery is dependant on the courier however the estimated delivery times from dispatch:
- VIC Metro: 1–3 business days
- Interstate Metro: 2–6 business days
- Regional / Remote Areas: 3–10 business days
Delivery timeframes are estimates only. We are not liable for carrier delays.
5. Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated at checkout unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Free Freight Offer
We offer free standard freight on orders over $1,000 (ex GST) subject to the following conditions:
- Applies to non-bulky products only
- Applies to standard commercial delivery locations
- Excludes pallet freight, oversized items, and remote area surcharges
- We reserve the right to determine freight classification
If an order includes bulky or palletised goods, freight charges may apply even if the order exceeds $1,000.
6. Pallet & Freight Deliveries
For pallet or bulk freight deliveries:
- The delivery address must have suitable access for heavy vehicles.
- A forklift or appropriate unloading facilities must be available unless a tail-lift service is arranged.
- Additional charges may apply if redelivery is required due to access issues.
- Waiting time or re-delivery fees charged by the carrier will be passed on to the Customer.
7. Risk & Insurance
Risk in goods passes to the Customer upon dispatch from our warehouse in Victoria.
We are not liable for loss, theft or damage occurring in transit unless required by law.
Freight insurance is not automatically included unless specified. Customers may request transit insurance at additional cost prior to dispatch.
8. Authority to Leave
Deliveries are made to commercial premises during normal business hours.
If:
- Authority to leave is provided; or
- A delivery is made without signature at the premises
Risk remains with the Customer once delivery has occurred.
9. Incorrect Address or Failed Delivery
If an incorrect or incomplete delivery address is provided:
- The Customer is responsible for any re-delivery fees.
- Additional freight charges may apply.
- Storage or return-to-sender fees imposed by carriers will be passed on.
10. Damaged or Missing Goods
Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
Claims for damage, shortage, or incorrect supply must:
- Be notified in writing within 5 business days of delivery.
- Include photographic evidence.
- Include proof of delivery documentation.
Failure to notify within this period may void the claim.
Goods must not be disposed of or returned without our written approval.
11. Partial Shipments & Backorders
We may deliver goods in instalments.
If items are temporarily out of stock:
- We may hold the order; or
- Ship available items and dispatch the balance later.
Additional freight charges will not apply to backorders unless otherwise agreed.
12. Delays Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Transport disruptions
- Natural disasters
- Industrial action
- Carrier capacity issues
13. Governing Law
This Shipping Policy is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
